Exploring Thailand’s Natural Wonders
DAY 1: BANGKOK
After arrival and formalities at the airport, we will transfer to our hotel to check in and rest. In the evening, we’ll visit the beautiful Bangkok Flower Market and continue our exploration in the Khao San area, a popular district in Bangkok.
Day 2: Bangkok: King’s Palace and Temples – River Cruise
After breakfast, we will continue our exploration of the enchanting city. We will visit the entire golden Buddha Temple, which weighs five and a half tons, and the “Wat Pho” Temple, considered one of the most important religious sites in Thailand. We’ll also explore the grand King’s Palace and its manicured gardens, see the temples built for the royal family, and admire the wall paintings that tell the story of the royal dynasty. After lunch, we’ll embark on a river cruise through the canals of Bangkok.
Day 3: Floating Market – Bridge Over the River Kwai
After breakfast, we’ll head to the famous floating market, and on our way, we’ll visit a coconut processing farm. We’ll then get up close to the bustling trade happening on the boats at the floating market. From there, we’ll continue to Kanchanaburi and visit renowned sites like the Bridge Over the River Kwai, the war cemetery, and the War Museum. After the tour, we’ll return to our hotel in Bangkok.
Day 4: Bangkok – Pattaya – Evening Tour
After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we will travel to Pattaya, a charming beach town south of Bangkok. Upon arrival at the hotel, we will check in and have some free time for leisure. In the evening, we’ll explore the vibrant nightlife of Pattaya.
Day 5: Pattaya – Nong Nooch Gardens – Doi Suthep – Night Market
After breakfast, we’ll visit Nong Nooch Gardens and the impressive orchid farm. We’ll stroll among the different gardens and admire the exotic plants. Then, we’ll travel to Doi Suthep, an important temple located on a mountaintop. We’ll have a panoramic view of Chiang Mai and learn about the temple’s unique architecture and its many statues. In the evening, we’ll explore the famous night market.
Day 6: Chiang Mai – Long Neck Tribe – Chiang Mai
After breakfast, we’ll depart for a village where the Long Neck Tribe resides. These women elongate their necks with brass rings. We’ll then continue our journey to Chiang Mai, the northern capital of Thailand. Upon arrival, we will visit artisan neighborhoods specializing in various handicrafts, such as silverware, woodwork, silk, leather, and more. In the evening, we’ll attend a traditional Kantoke dinner and cultural show.
Day 7: Chiang Mai – Elephant Riding – Orchid Farm – Night Market
After breakfast, we’ll visit an elephant farm and a school for their training. We’ll enjoy a playful performance and continue with an elephant ride through the jungle. Then, we’ll visit an orchid farm and be mesmerized by the variety of these beautiful flowers. In the afternoon, we’ll ascend Doi Suthep mountain in a cable car and visit the prominent temple at its peak. In the evening, we’ll explore the night market.
Day 8: Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai – Golden Triangle – Night Market
After breakfast, we’ll set off for the Golden Triangle area, the famous region where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Burma meet. We’ll visit a local market known for its goods from all around the region. After lunch, we’ll take a boat ride on the Mekong River, exploring the area’s unique landscapes. In the evening, we’ll visit the night market in the tribal area.
Day 9: Chiang Mai – Phuket
After breakfast, we’ll bid farewell to the northern region of Thailand and take a flight to Phuket, the largest island in Thailand. Upon arrival, we’ll check in at our hotel.
Day 10: Phuket – James Bond Island Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll embark on a day tour and boat trip to Phang Nga Bay.
This is a perfect excursion for nature lovers and those seeking dramatic scenery. Along the way, we’ll see impressive limestone cliffs and sea caves, which have made the area famous.
Phang Nga Bay is a national marine park covering around 400 square kilometers, home to many islands.
After the tour, we’ll return to the hotel and in the evening, we’ll explore the Patong nightlife.
Day 11: Phuket – Free Day
A free day in Phuket to enjoy the beautiful beaches and various activities offered on the island. For those interested, you can join optional guided tours provided by the tour guide for an additional fee.
DAY 12: END OF THE TRIP
Our last day of the enchanting journey in Thailand.
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we’ll have some free time for last-minute shopping in one of the shopping centers in the area.
Depending on the flight time, we’ll depart for Phuket International Airport.
